Here is what you’ll get:
Lapbook Cover
Have your learners color and cut the cover page. Fold a large piece of construction paper or file folder where the ends go to the center. Glue the cover page on the top and cut down the middle after the glue dries.
Globe Title
Have your learners color and cut the globe title. Glue the title on the top of the inside of the lapbook (matching the hands on the cover before gluing).
Map of the World
Have your learners complete color in this graph as they learn about the different holidays celebrated around the world. (Note: there is only room for 6 holidays in the lapbook)
Saint Lucia Day
Read a book about St. Lucia Day such as, Lucia Morning in Sweden (link inlcuded) Then, have the learners illustrate the pages of the St. Lucia booklet and glue onto the lapbook.
Diwali
Read a book about Diwali such as, Diwali: A Cultural Adventure (link included) Then, have the learners illustrate the pages of the Diwali booklet and glue onto the lapbook.
Hanukkah
Read a book about Hanukkah such as, Hanukkah Lights (link included) Then, have the learners illustrate the pages of the Hanukkah booklet and glue onto the lapbook.
Kwanzaa
Read a book about Kwanzaa such as, Together For Kwanzaa (link included) Then, have the learners illustrate the pages of the Kwanzaa booklet and glue onto the lapbook.
St. Nicholas Day
Read a book about St. Nicholas Day such as, A Special St. Nicholas Day (link included) Then, have the learners illustrate the pages of the St. Nicholas Day booklet and glue onto the lapbook.
Las Posados
Read a book about Las Posadas such as, The Night of Las Posadas (link included) Then, have the learners illustrate the pages of the Las Posadas booklet and glue onto the lapbook.
La Befana
