Alphabet Letter Hats for Beginning Sounds
Make alphabet practice hands-on with these Alphabet Letter Hats for Preschool, Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First Grade.
Each printable hat focuses on one letter of the alphabet. Bold uppercase and lowercase letters help children recognize the featured letter. Plus, beginning-sound pictures help learners connect letters, sounds, and vocabulary.
Children color, cut, assemble, and wear their finished alphabet hats. As a result, phonics practice becomes an interactive activity they can proudly take home.
Use the hats during Letter of the Week, phonics lessons, literacy centers, or whole-group instruction. They also provide a fun way to celebrate learning each new letter.

After reviewing the letter and pictures, children color and cut their alphabet hats. Once assembled, the hats are ready to wear.
