Make counting fun with Spider Counting! This free resource includes a playful poem/song to recite along with number cards. Learners use plastic spiders or spider erasers to practice counting to the number on each card. A great hands-on way to build number sense while adding a touch of seasonal fun!
With this resource, your learners will:
K.CC.B.4.a – when counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object
K.2.C – count a set of objects up to at least 20 and demonstrate that the last number said tells the number of objects in the set regardless of their arrangement or order
