FREE Problem and Solution Reading Response
Help young readers think about problem and solution with this FREE reading response printable for Kindergarten and First Grade.
After reading a story, children record the title and author. Then, they identify the problem in the story and explain how the problem was solved.
The open-response format gives learners plenty of room to draw, write, or use a combination of both. As a result, you can easily adapt the page for different writing levels.
Use this problem and solution reading response during read alouds, guided reading, literacy centers, independent reading, or whole-group comprehension lessons.
