LITERACY CENTERS INCLUDED:

Phonics Center:
Print and laminate the phonics cards. Have the learners look at the picture, determine the initial sound and put a clip or marker on the correct letter. Learners may complete the printable while at the center or as an assessment after.

Pocket Chart Center:
Print and laminate the word cards for each sentence. Have your learners match the words to create a sentence. They may then write and illustrate a sentence they created.

Reading Center:
Print the pages and purchase a photo album from a dollar store. Insert the title and pages into the photo album. Laminate the word holder for each book and velcro the word cards onto the holder page and place on the blank book pages. Learners may read the book at the center and fill in the missing words for the second portion of the book.

Sight Word Center:
Edit the sight word cards (Download font KG Blank Space Solid and open in Adobe Reader) to meet your needs, print and laminate the cards. Have your learners play concentration and match the sight word cards or create a write the room center for learners to look for a specific word or match a word they draw from a bin. Learners may write the words they match on the printable provided. 2 sets are provided.

Word Play Center:
Print and laminate CVC and letter cards. Have your learners match the letters for each sound they hear in the word. Learners may complete the printable while at the center or as an assessment after.

Writing Center:
Print, laminate the word chart and post in your writing center. Have your learners use the word chart, story starter writing pages or simply create their own story.

MATH CENTERS INCLUDED:

Math Center 1: (Number ID to 20)
Print and laminate the cards. Have the learners count the pumpkins on each card and place a clip or marker on the correct number. Learners may complete the printable while at the center or as an assessment after.

Math Center 2: (Ten Frame/Making Numbers)
Print and laminate the mats, counters and number cards. Game 1: Have your learners choose a whole number and grab that many counters. Have them sort, place, count the counters and write the parts that make up their whole. Game 2: Have learners choose a parts card and grab that many of each counter. Learners may then count to determine the whole their parts make.

Math Center 3: (Writing Numerals)
Print and laminate the writing pages. Have the learners practice writing the numerals correctly on each page with a dry erase crayon or marker.

Math Center 4: (Shape Race)
Print and laminate the game boards and find a manipulative for each player (small erasers, counters, etc.). Have the learners use a paper clip and pencil to spin an shape. Learners may move to that shape on the board the first learners to reach the end of the board wins. Learners may complete the printable while at the center or as an assessment after.

Math Center 5: (More/Less)
Print and laminate the mats and number cards. Game 1: Have learners choose 2 numbers from a bin or bag. Learners may place the cards on the mat to show which is more and less. Game 2: Have learners choose 1 number cards from a bin or bag. Learners may place the card on the math and write or use the small cards to show one more and one less. Learners may complete the printable while at the center or as an assessment after.

Math Center 6: (Graphing)
Print and laminate the mat and make the dice provided. Have the learners roll the dice and mark it correctly on the mat using a dry erase marker, counters or picture cards included. Have learners compare their graphs once completed. Learners may complete the printable while at the center or as an assessment after.
