This resource can be used during your circle time or calendar in a Preschool, Pre-K or Kindergarten classroom for the month of October.

October Calendar
Includes a October title, editable year, and date cards with an ABC pattern.

October Workpages
Print these pages front and back and have your learners fill in the dates for the month of October and the October focus letters, numbers, shape, and color.

October Songs
Use these welcome, months, days of the week and weather songs
during October Calendar time.

Counting Spiders
Practice counting to 30 everyday using these spiders. Cut, tape or
glue and laminate as a single strip.

October Focus
Post the focus letters (Ff-Ii), numbers (3 and 4), shape (square) and
color (orange) and editable sight word cards to introduce and review during the month of October.

Rhyming
Use the rhyming cards to make new rhyming words. These words
can be real or nonsense. Have your learners tell you words or say a silly chant (i.e. “spider bo-bider, banana-fana, fo-fider, me-mi-mo- mider, spider”)

Rhyming Song
Sing the “Leaves are Falling” song to the tune of “Jingle Bells” and
have the learners match the rhyming words. Post and and review the rhyming words cards and discuss that they end the same, so they rhyme.
